Petra Nachtmanova & Ceyhun Kaya: Vom Kaukasus nach Anatolien
Petra Nachtmanova and Ceyhun Kaya present folksongs from Eastern Europe, Anatolia and the Caucasus. Their special sound results from the unusual tonal combination of the Anatolian saz and the Georgian panduri, distant relatives of the three-string lutes. Eastern Europe and Anatolia are the regions from which the two largest migrant communities in Berlin are from. The music of the Caucasus is also at home here. But the combination of all three regions with these two lutes makes the mixture unique!
