In its productions, the Berlin-based artists collective hannsjana (Laura Besch, Alice Escher, Jule Gorke, Lotte Schüßler, Katharina Siemann and Marie Weich) deals in a humorous, poetic, musical and scientific way with things that are supposedly obvious or taken for granted. Hannsjana’s works have recently been presented at the Nationaltheater Mannheim, the Kunstfest Weimar, the Theater Thikwa and the Sophiensäle Berlin.
