Perforator

The Dutch duo Perforator, consisting of Marlies van Gangelen (oboe) und Akim Moiseenkov (electronics), plays experimental new music that completely dispenses with classic notation. Using self-built synthesizers, joysticks and game controllers, the duo explores the interrelations of sound and space, oscillating between music and game. With motion sensors and algorithms, Perforator allows hidden electronic processes be experienced and develops its very own musical language.
