Perforator (Workshop sold out! Few tickets for the concert left)

A game controller as a musical instrument? Yes, gaming and making music belong together for Perforator, and that’s a lot of fun! In the workshop with the Dutch duo, youths and adults can give themselves a try as sound artists.

But before the workshop a special concert will take place:  Subtle oboe sounds are raised to new spheres with electronic effects, beats and Auto-Tune. Through the use of motion sensors, the Dutch duo visualises hidden electronic processes in a musical dialogue and turns the entire body into an instrument. With great joy in experimentation and a lot of creativity, Perforator breaks with traditions. While the boundaries between video games and music compositions blur, entirely new perspectives open up.
