Sprengotchki

The Berliner quartet Sprengotchki (Anna Oustinov, Juliette Beauchamp, Lauriane Maudry, Emma Portier) works at the intersection of vocal folk music, instrumental chamber music and performance, with polyphonic vocal music from Eastern Europe as the basic element. The music of the young female musicians combines folkloristic sounds with chamber music of various epochs, influences of the culture of their homelands Russia, Germany, Poland and France, and the experiences they have gained as classical instrumentalists in present-day Berlin.
