Verena Hemmerlein

Verena Hemmerlein studied stage and costume design at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. Since 2003 she has been active internationally as a freelance scenographer and set and costume designer for music theatre, theatre and dance in Düsseldorf, Nuremberg, Berlin, Madrid, Kwangju, Tulsa USA and Birmingham, among others. She was awarded the Kulturförderpreis of the City of Würzburg. Verena Hemmerlein is a lecturer at the TU Berlin in the master study course Bühnenbild_Szenischer Raum.
