Open Air Cinema: Queer-Feminist Short Film Programme

After sundown, the team of Quarteera e.V. screens short films on the theme of queer feminism – for queer women are often subject to double discrimination. The presented films:

“Böse Tochter” by Svetlana Sigalaeva (Russia, 2020, 25 min.) on the first yet momentous love of two schoolgirls

“FRAUEN*. Wofür wir kämpfen” documentary by Victoria Guivik (Ukraine, 2020, 30 min.) on lesbians engaged in the global struggle for human rights

“Glückliche Jahre” documentary by Svitlana Shimko and Galina Yarmanova (Ukraine 2018, 8 min.) on homosexual women in the late Soviet Union who looked for love outside of marriage

Audio is provided via wireless headphones, which will be handed out to you upon entry.
