Quarteera “Spirit Days”: Creative Writing for post-Soviet LBTIQA+ migrants and refugees

Queer stories are often told in a simplified, hierarchical way. Sometimes queer stories are instrumentalized and told from above. But who can tell our stories better then we ourselves? In this empowerment workshop we will create a space for post-Soviet lesbian, bisexual, pansexual, transgender, intersex, queer, asexual persons and all who do not feel well inside the common abbreviations but also are confronted with homo- and trans- discrimination. You do not need to have an experience in journalistic or literary writing to take part in the workshop. Working language will be spoken Russian. If needed, also Ukrainian, German, English. You can write in your language!
